Paula Ann (Jones) Baker

     Paula Ann Jones Baker, 74, of Raleigh passed gently from her earthly life Wednesday, October 13, 2021  at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Ann Jones, in Burgaw.

     She was born August 22, 1947 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late William Warren Jones and Letitia Narizzano Jones.

     Paula is survived by her brother, Larry Ray Jones and his wife, Ann; nephews, Michael Jones and Matthew Jones; her cousin who was more like a brother, Paul Jones; and many extended family and friends.

     Paula was a graduate of Burgaw High School and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from UNC-Wilmington. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Raleigh, NC. She was retired after many years as an event planner.

     She enjoyed years of traveling, mostly with her cousin, Paul Jones. Favorite places being Europe and historical places in North Carolina. Many cats were blessed to have a home with Paula where they were loved and well cared for. Most of all Paula loved her family and they loved her in return.

     A memorial outside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in the Prayer Garden at Watha United Methodist Church with Pastor John Fedoronko conducting the service.
