Priscilla Ann McCoy

Priscilla Ann McCoy, age 67 passed away peacefully on Sunday November 19, 2023 in Wilmington , North Carolina.

      Priscilla was born July 4,1956 in Ashtabula, Ohio, and was the daughter of Lilly Ann McCoy and the late Happy Conrad McCoy. Priscilla was also preceded in death by her brother, Alan McCoy.

     Priscilla was a lady who never met a stranger and was always willing to make a new friend. She loved making people smile and feel good inside themselves. Priscilla was a member and regularly attended Gateway Church for over 10 years. She was a lifelong member of the Burgaw VFW Auxiliary where she was very active in all their functions. Priscilla was a huge fan and supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She loved watching her Buckeyes play football and would cheer them on to victory every chance she got.

     Priscilla will be truly missed by those she leaves behind, her mom, Lilly McCoy; son Philip Burge; daughter, Rebecca Burge; three grandchildren, Daniel Collins, Cody and Chloe Bunnell;  brother, Brian Murray and his wife, Judy; sister Brenda Hughes and her husband, Daniel; three nephews, David Menear and his wife, Bernie, and Joel and Justin McCoy; niece, Crystal Carty and her husband, Jeff, as well as numerous cousins and the countless lives she touched while she was here.

     The family would also like to give a special thank you to the staff at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, ICU department, for their generosity and kindness they showed during her stay there.

      Service will be private at this time for the family.
