Rachel Lee (Ward) Reynolds

Rachel Lee Reynolds, age 88, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was born on June 6, 1932 to the late Major Ward and Velma Pierce Ward.

Rachel loved God, church and her fellow church members. She also loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Rachel was a bright light to many people and will be missed dearly.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Floyd Osborne; daughter, Faye Morgan and husband, Dwight; grandchildren, Donna Kay Cain and husband, Bobby, and Elbert Eugene Morgan; great-grandchildren, Alicia Gore and husband, Oscar, Ray Kinser and wife, Sam, Samantha Lynn Williams and husband, Corey, and Elbert Morgan, Jr.; great-great-grandchildren, Makayla Dawn Gore, Austin Gore, Jaxxson Williams, Pyper Williams, and Tierney Kinser; stepsons, Robert Osborne and fiancé, Rene, and Russell E. Osborne; stepdaughters, Pamela Kay Osborne and Sebrina L. Vinson and husband, Dean; twenty step-grandchildren; and twenty-two step-great-grandchildren.

Rachel was preceded in death by her first husband, Donnie Ethell Reynolds; sisters, Daisy Frances Skipper, Carrie Lee Sellers, Ruby Lee Canady, and Lela Mae Porter; brothers, Grady Kelly Ward, Charlie Ward, and Major Paul Ward, Sr.; and stepdaughter, Patricia L. Derr.

A funeral service will be held at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1pm with Pastor Dr. Marty Campo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
