Rebecca Ann Gray

Rebecca Ann Gray, 70, of Richlands left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from Onslow Memorial Hospital.

She was born on November 19, 1950 in Duplin County to the late Ralph and Eloise Moore Dixon. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Dixon and brother, Dennis Dixon.  

Rebecca was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving children, Paula Bass and husband, Mark of Richlands, Darrell Critzer and wife, Jacqueline of Zion Crossroads, VA, A.C. Critzer,II and wife, Amy of Midlothian, VA and Melanie Gray of Swansboro. Rebecca was also blessed with 12 granchildren and 7 great grandchildren; her sister, Angela Harvey and husband, Peter; and brother, Jethro Dixon and wife, Shelby; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that loved Rebecca dearly.   

Rebecca  was a selfless mother and devout Christian.  She lived her life devoted to her children and grandchildren.  Although she was not rich in worldly possessions, she was rich beyond measure.  Her treasures were her children and grandchildren.  She instilled in each of them the meaning of love and devotion to Christ.  Although she only had four children, she was a mother to all neighborhood children.  She also enjoyed crocheting, was an accomplished seamstress and excelled at cooking.  She is with her heavenly father now, but in her time here on earth, she held the most glorious title of Mother. Rebecca will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace, NC

Burial will follow in Pin Hook Cemetery, Teachey, NC.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday evening, April 2, 2021 at Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace, NC.
