Robert "Bob" Lewis Henline

      Robert "Bob" Lewis Henline, 96, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. He was born on September 13, 1928, in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, Mitchell County, to the late Paul and Gladys Bradshaw Henline.

     Bob began work with Mitchell Distributing Company, (Now Linder Equipment Company) and remained there for forty-three years. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war.

     Bob  was a charter member of Raleigh Country Club and MacGregor Downs Country Club.

     Bob's wishes were for his friends to remember him as he was without a formal service. At a later date his cremated remains will be buried beside his wife, Jean Humphrey Henline at a private family burial in Burgaw Cemetery, Burgaw North Carolina.

     In lieu of flowers Bob suggested that anyone wishing to honor him may do so through a memorial contribution to the Burgaw Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 565 Burgaw, NC 28425, or to one's choice.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Humphrey Henline.

     Robert is survived by his son, Robert Lewis Henline, Jr., and his wife, Teresa; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
