Sandra Marie (Burris) Lewis

Sandra Marie Burris Lewis, age 78, of Warsaw left this earthly life for her eternal rest on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from the Brian Center of Wallace. 

She was born on August 20, 1944 in Nassau County, New York and was the daughter of the late Harold Burris and Willet Grider Burris Herbert.  She was also predeceased by her son, Dennis Michael Lewis and her many siblings.

Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Robert Casper Lewis of the home; children, Joseph Lewis and wife, Denise of New York, Sean Lewis and wife, MaryAnn of Leland, Brian Lewis and wife, Jackie of Warsaw, James Lewis and wife, Christine, Peter Lewis and wife, Anna, Paul Lewis and wife, Lori, all of New York and Ann Marie Lewis and wife, Kristin of Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Lewis of New York;  many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister, Cynthia Amaroso of New York and an abundance of extended family and friends.  

Sandra was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and sister.  She loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren.  They were to her, the most favorite beings in the world.  Sandra was an avid reader who enjoyed mystery books.  She also enjoyed watching "Murder She Wrote".   Among other pleasures in life, Sandra enjoyed ceramics and making thing with her hands.   Sandra will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
