Stephen Padrick

     Roy Stephen Padrick, age 64, of Burgaw passed away suddenly on Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 13, 1956 in Wilmington, NC to Holland Jeanette Potter and the late Kenneth Irving Padrick.

     Stephen earned an AAS degree in Electronic Technology from Cape Fear Community College. He began his career in Louisiana working in the geophysical field. After moving back to the Wilmington area he worked for communications companies and also did contract work for geophysical companies that took him back to the Gulf area. Before he retired he worked for Guilford East in Kenansville maintaining their production equipment.

     He is survived by his wife Leticia, the love of his life; his mother Jeanette Padrick of Liberty Commons in Wilmington; his brother Michael Padrick of Efland, NC; his sister Kimette Whitt (Paul) of Wilmington; nephews Brian Padrick (Lori) of Graham, NC and Mathew Whitt (Hannah) of Winnabow; and nieces Stephanie Padrick of Cary and Elizabeth Whitt of Cary. He also leaves behind many furry and feathered friends.
