Timothy Lee Kirker

Timothy Lee Kirker, 62, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

He was born on September 12, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Larinda (Brill) Kimball and the late Jerry Kirker.

Tim was a huge fan of NASCAR, and his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. He had a large collection of Jeff Gordon memorabilia. Tim also loved boating and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his son, Joey Kirker; his mother, Larinda Kimball; his stepfather, Richard Kimball; his brothers, Brad Kirker and wife, Darlene, Richard Kimball, Jr. and wife, Anna; his sister, Kimberly Allen and husband, Jeffrey; his nephews, Brandon Allen, Jaeger Kirker, Brady Allen, Bryce Allen, Lucas Kimball; his nieces, Kaylee Allen, Kristin Kirker; and his great nieces, Madison Allen and  Grace Allen.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Wilmington First Church of the Nazarene on Carolina Beach Road with Pastor Carey Pratt and Pastor Dodd Parrish officiating. His cremains will be scattered at Dale Hollow Lake in Clay County, TN..
