William Patrick "Pat" Jackson, age 59, of Teachey left this earthly life for his eternal rest on Friday May 7, 2021 from Vidant Duplin Hospital.
He was born on December 22, 1961 in Pender County and was the son of Marion F. and Rae Teachey Wood of Willard. He ws predeceased by his brother, Randy Jackson and his maternal grandparents, Herman and Minnie Teachey.
Pat proudly served his country in the North Carolina National Guard for many years.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Cathy Futrell Jackson of Teachey; daughter, Ashley Jackson of Teachey; sisters, Cindy Ledford of Willard and Donna Hale and husband, Patrick of Greenville; his canine companion's "Maggie" and "Ruby" and many extended family and friends that loved Pat.
Pat was a devoted husband and caring father who loved his family dearly. He was a hard worker and a great provider for his family. With a great love and loyalty for Ashley, Pat gave up his career with Pepsi and the National Guard to be able to bring her home so she could have a better life. He was one who would do whatever necessary for those he loved. Pat was a good husband and father and loved to spoil his 'girls'. There was nothing they needed and most of the time wanted that he didn't provide for them. Pat enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outside. He has many friends in Farmville where he lived earlier in life as well as friends in the Wallace area that he loved and was loved in return. Pat was a 'Grandpa's boy'. He loved his grandpa Teachey and enjoyed spending time with him. Being a serious, but well manner man, Pat was loved by all who knew him. He will surely be missed but treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Riverview Memorial Park in Watha.
