William "Willie" Lawrence McFee

     With sad hearts and lots of tears we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of our dear William “Willie” Lawrence McFee, a cherished good man on Monday, September 29, 2025 at his home.

     He was born October 2, 1969 in Onslow County, the son of Evelyn Justice McFee and the late Donals Edward McFee.

     Willie is survived by his beloved fiancée, Deanna Meckley, the love of Willie’s life; his mother, Evelyn Justice McFee; brothers, Brian McFee (Sharon) and Daniel McFee; sister, Kathy Richardson; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Not to be forgotten are Willie’s furry buddies, Kane and Maverick.

      First and foremost, Willie was the love and shining light in Deanna’s life. His goodness and great sense of humor was unmatched. He was an expert carpenter and Jack of all trades. He was well known as an all-around good and reliable man. Willie is gone but will never be forgotten.

     A gathering of family and friends will be at a later date.
