Death is an absolute certainty.
Our goal is to serve and we aim to please. I find myself sharing that phrase with many people I come in contact with. Everything we do is really part of a bigger picture. We are simply on the journey with the families we serve, in an effort to make their sad and difficult moments easier through care and compassion.
It is extremely rewarding to be part of the work that Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home has in place – Our family serving our community with commitment and excellence.
After many years of working in law offices in New Hanover County, serving in the legal community, and with an Associate Degree in Applied Science, I have learned to greatly appreciate the needs of others. It is an honor to assist families with the necessary closure their loved ones require.
Again, death is an absolute certainty. We are here and ready to serve you with care and compassion.

After 16 years in this rewarding profession, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I grew up in Maryland and have enjoyed the last many, many years in the southern part of North Carolina. I am happy to be apart of a family owned and operated funeral home that cares about the families they serve.
